About Us

Let me introduce ourselves to you. I am Shelby Boismier, and my daughter Olivia has joined me now. We are The Unwound Sheep Co. I started this venture 10 years ago with the purpose of providing a resource for hard-to-find chaplets. Our Faith is so vast and there are so many good devotions out there! My goal is to make those uncommon devotions known and available to people and to be a resource for those looking for specialized items. Please, ask questions. If you need something that’s not listed, let us know and we’ll do a custom order for you. We specialize in over 75 different chaplets. If you see a chaplet in a book or online, send me a picture or a link and we see how we can go about creating it for you. We do also carry unique and special occasion rosaries as well: First Communion, Confirmation, OCIA, wedding sets, etc. We’re here to serve your prayer life!

And remember, if you’re coming unwound, prayer is always the answer! There’s a chaplet for that!

Why We’re Different!

We use standard jewelry-making supplies, not “rosary-making” supplies. Simply put, our products are sturdy. We use 20ga (thick) internally colored copper wire (not steel) and jewelry chain. We use the hightest quality beads available, ranging from natural stone to fire-polished Czech glass to resin. Each bead is inspected for flaws contrary to the chaplet's design.

The Year of St Francis
“Nothing gives me so much consolation as to think of the life and passion of our Lord. Were I to live at the end of the world I should stand in need of no other book.” - St Francis of Assisi

Indeed, St. Francis’ love of Christ’s Passion was rewarded by receiving His Five Holy Wounds, also known as the Stigmata. Known for his love of animals, St Francis of Assisi founded the order of Franciscans in AD 1209. This order primarily focused on teaching, charity, poverty, and, most importantly, peace, as it continues to do so to this day. The saint’s “Prayer for Peace” is among Catholic favorites and has been adapted into many hymns of prayer and praise to God.
On January 10th, 2026, Pope Leo XIV announced the Franciscan Jubilee year in honor of the eighth century of the saint’s death, as well as to “avoid spiritual fatigue,” as “The great spiritual experience of the Jubilee Year 2025 is now behind us.”

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.

O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console,
to be understood as to understand,
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

St. Francis of Assisi, pray for us!
